Every single one of the players who have won one of these tournaments will be down in the poker com record book forever and most have done well in the rest of there poker careers.
The most recent winner was Peter Eastgate who represents PokerStar.com just won his bracelet less than a week ago and took home a pay check for $9.1 million. This is among the most anyone has been paid for winning a poker tournament and the only one I can think of off of my head that tops it is the 2006 WSOP main event where Jamie Gold took home $12 million.
Every poker players to dream is to become one of the players on this list and it’s definitely possible. Many of the recent winners have been no-name players who made it through satellite tournaments. With the online poker world anything is possible and you could have your name up on this list as well one day if you ever win a World Series of Poker main event bracelet. Everyone can buy into this tournament each year if they want the only thing is it will cost you $10,000 for the seat plus travel and accommodations.
